Position Title: Student Pool-ISS Tech Support

Department: Information Technology Services

Advertised Pay: $12.00 per hour

Campus Location: Washburn University 

Position Summary: The Tech Support Student Assistant position at Washburn University provides assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors by phone or in person at our help desk, classrooms, and offices.

Essential Functions:
Provide technical support to Students, Faculty, and Staff in-person and by telephone.

Non-Essential Functions:
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
-Washburn or Washburn Tech student.
-Fluent in English, other languages welcome and helpful.
-Preferred: Computer Repair and Networking and Computer Science Students, but all students are welcome to apply.

-Computer knowledge, troubleshooting abilities, strict confidentiality and ITS cybersecurity policies.
-Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred, but not required.

Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
