Position Summary: The Office Assistant provides clerical support to the University Registrar's Office.

Essential Functions:
Answer phones, transfer calls and deliver messages
Scan/Index records
Complete data entry and other computer-based projects, as assigned
Provide excellent customer service to visitors, students, staff and faculty
Perform additional tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Must be a current Washburn University or Washburn Tech student.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to respond to a wide range of concerns with a professional demeanor
Excellent comprehension, spelling, grammar and arithmetic skills
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

Hourly, Part time, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
