General Summary Manage, administer and implement the goals and objectives of the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) Program. The TRIO SSS Program is designed to provide coordinated academic and support services to targeted low-income, first generation and/or disabled college students. |

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications: A Master's degree in guidance and counseling, education leadership, or a related field is required. Two years progressively more responsible experience administering educational or human service program, including some combination of program management and evaluation, fiscal responsibility and staff supervision is required. Demonstrated knowledge of the psychological, behavioral and educational issues affecting the academic success of first generation, low income and disabled university students is necessary. |

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Department of Education TRIO programs and experience developing and providing academic support programming for academically and/or economically disadvantaged university students is preferred. Strong organizational and written/interpersonal communication skills are required Grant writing experience is required Previous supervisory experience is desirable. Special Instructions: N/A |
