      Eastern Michigan University’s (EMU) School of Social Work (SSW) is now accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.  This position is part of a university-wide interdisciplinary cluster hire focusing on college students' mental health and well-being.  The Social Work faculty member will be part of a collaborative cluster of faculty from but not limited to, Higher Education Student Affairs, College Counseling, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Psychology, and Occupational Therapy, as well as practitioners in the field to form the College Student Mental Health Research Collaborative. The collaborative will develop a research agenda that can inform practice and institutional policy formation related to mental health and well-being. This position starts August 2026.
