Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, or hold a bachelor's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or a related discipline. Bursar in Richmond Campus
The Bursar provides strategic leadership and oversight for the institution’s student accounts and cashiering operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all tuition, fee, and related financial transactions. This position plays a vital role in supporting the University’s administrative and student service functions through the timely and accurate billing, collection, and reconciliation of student accounts. The Bursar is responsible for managing tuition and fee assessments, approving account adjustments, processing student refunds, and overseeing the receipt and disbursement of institutional and financial aid funds. The incumbent ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations, including reporting and audit requirements, and maintains robust internal controls to safeguard institutional assets. As the institutional expert on student account policies and procedures, the Bursar provides guidance to students, families, and campus stakeholders. This position collaborates closely with offices such as Financial Aid, Registrar, and Finance to resolve complex account issues, enhance business processes, and promote a positive student experience. The Bursar also supervises departmental staff, manages the operation and maintenance of student financial systems, and prepares reports to support financial planning and decision-making. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to implement process improvements that strengthen the institution’s administrative and financial operations.

Senior Director, Development in Richmond Campus
The Senior Director, Development, under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President of Development for Major & Planned Gifts, will be an integral part of the Development and Alumni Relations team for Eastern Kentucky University. This position will travel extensively, both within Kentucky and beyond, to advance a culture of philanthropy at EKU. The Senior Director, Development will serve an important role in the university's campaign by helping to build the university's portfolio of major and planned gift prospects, helping to establish a major gift pipeline. In addition to focusing on soliciting major and planned gifts, the Senior Director will also supervise at least one Assistant/Associate Director, Development and serve as a mentor for the team. The incumbent will use knowledge gained from years of professional experience in higher education fundraising to help develop successful solicitation strategy, not only for their assigned prospects, but also for prospects assigned across the University. The Senior Director, Development will serve an important role in the university's campaign by helping to build the university's portfolio of major and planned gift prospects, helping to establish a major gift pipeline. This position requires an ability to identify, qualify, and cultivate donor prospects toward solicitation of major and planned gifts as quickly as possible. Emphasis will be placed on hitting metrics in terms of visits made and dollars raised. The Senior Director will be expected to serve as a development representative within assigned colleges, schools, units, and/or programs. The incumbent will make the development office aware of unit priorities and ensure that assigned units follow development policies and procedures.
