    • Assistant Professor of Practice in Education and Associate Director of Doctoral Programs – Singapore (Based at Drake University) in Iowa

      The School of Education at Drake University is excited to launch a search for an Assistant Professor of Practice to support our Doctor of Education (EdD) program offered in Singapore in partnership with Nanyang Science and Technology College (NSTC) and to serve as the Associate Director of Doctoral Programs - Singapore. This is a non-tenure-track, consecutive-term, 11-month appointment beginning July 2026. The Assistant Professor of Practice will be located on the Drake University campus in Des Moines, Iowa and will teach remotely in the EdD program in Singapore (with possible in-person teaching opportunities in Singapore during the January Term and in the summer), advise doctoral student group dissertations in practice, serve on group dissertation committees, and contribute service to the School of Education and the University. As the Associate Director of Doctoral Programs – Singapore, this position will also provide leadership and support for the development and growth of the EdD program in Singapore in partnership with NSTC.

    • Assistant or Associate Professor, Occupational Therapy - 998205 in Iowa

      This position reports to the OTD Program Director/Chairperson and will oversee and teach the research series courses and mentor junior OT faculty in research design and data analysis. Specific responsibilities include course development and teaching based on content expertise, student advising and mentoring, college and community service, and scholarship at a level consistent with the appointment. Faculty in the OTD program teach 11-13 credits annually and are expected to engage in academic and professional service to advance the college, University and the profession, and scholarship, including dissemination of the results. Duties will include overseeing student-faculty research projects, including determining project groups; mentoring junior faculty scholarship development; and developing and maintaining a fundable line of scholarship. The search committee is particularly interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.

    • Adjunct Instructor, Educational Leadership in Iowa

      The Drake University School of Education – Department of Leadership and Counseling invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor. This position will be responsible for teaching EDL 283: Leading Complex Organizations (taught Fall 2026). The successful candidate will teach one section in the Fall of 2026 to a group of educators seeking their Superintendent licensure. The course objectives have already been established. The instructor is responsible for facilitating course activities and projects designed to meet the course objectives as well as grading all related coursework. The purpose of the course is to prepare students to lead complex organizations. Leading and managing organizations is not easy and attempts to improve organizations without adequate understanding are common. Whether trying to lead, follow, or just survive, understanding the inherent complexity of leadership helps reduce surprise, confusion, and at times catastrophe. This course seeks to analyze exemplary leadership and develop knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to make positive differences in a group or organization. Public and private sectors increasingly impact one another, and shared understanding can help strengthen organizations locally, nationally, and internationally. Candidates must submit a letter of interest and a CV/resume online. K-12 administrative experience is required. Doctoral degree and/or university teaching experience are preferred.       Drake University’s Office of Communications and Marketing is excited to invite applications for a Digital Content Strategist. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining digital health across various digital platforms, ensuring attention to accessibility, user experience, SEO, brand guidelines, and proper use of institutional assets. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and organizational skills, a working understanding of HTML and CSS, and confidently be able to switch between various digital platforms on a regular basis. A strong customer-centric approach to work is also required. This individual is responsible for working across multiple campus partners to help support their website needs. While campus partners can publish a certain level of content, to maintain digital health, the vast majority of content is vetted through this office. For this reason, this individual needs to be able to empower content editors to a degree that helps them operate efficiently while prioritizing support requests that need implemented through the office. The right candidate will show a balance of customer service and an ability to communicate a recommendation that best meets the challenge or objective at hand.
