About the role:

  • Assist in the creation, scheduling and management of content for Advanced Skin Technology social media accounts.
  • Support the Social Media and PR Manager with Advanced Skin Technology events, and other press activities.

The Successful Applicant:

Are you an imaginative, focused, team player that relishes the opportunity to help deliver outstanding service, ideas and results?

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that build meaningful connections and encourage community members to take action.
  • Coordinate and implement social media campaigns across the organisation’s social media under the direction of the Social Media and PR Manager and in partnership with brand and education teams.
  • Work with the business stakeholders to develop social media initiatives to support major events (e.g. product launches, conferences, charity events, etc.) across the organisation.
  • Be an advocate and supporter of the appropriate use of social media that reinforces business activities.
  • Actively monitor and engage with our community, responding to comments and messages to foster strong connections, escalating to Customer Service team as required.
  • Assist with PR agency management from research to contract documentation, execution and reporting on outcomes.
  • Track budgets, process invoices, and maintain accurate reports and post-social campaign recaps presenting to the Social Media and PR Manager monthly.
  • Stay across social trends and competitor activity to support innovation and strategy.
  • Execute internal and external events, working closely with external agencies, the brand team, education, and operations to create memorable activations.
  • Attend events to produce live social media content.
  • Maintain a unified brand voice across all AST social media channels, ensuring each post is aligned to wider business or brand strategy.
Essential
  • A creative mind with a solid understanding of current social trends.
  • Confidence in shooting and editing short-form video content.
  • A self-starter with great communication and time management.
  • Someone hungry to learn, especially in the world of digital media and paid advertising.
  • Proficiency in TikTok, Instagram, and basic editing tools (Canva, CapCut, etc.).
  • Understanding of Device Technologies policies and procedures including any vaccination and background checks in line with your role and responsibilities.
  • A genuine interest in skincare and beauty.
Desirable
  • 1 year of proven experience in a similar role (1-3 years preferred).
  • Degree qualified in marketing or a related field, or a willingness to undertake further study if required.
  • Previous experience with LinkedIn, YouTube, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Experience in paid social campaign management.
  • Previous experience with social media scheduling tools such as HubSpot, Later, or Preview.
  • Understanding of TGA regulations and their impact in the cosmeceutical space.
