The opportunity…
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role supports day-to-day payment processes and expense management across the business. If you’re organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner across all entities
- Match invoices with purchase orders and ensure goods have been receipted and orders appropriately authorised
- Reconcile supplier statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies
- Organise supplier payments on a weekly basis
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding payment status, discrepancies, and queries
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports as required
- Administrator of the Company Corporate Cards and expense management system
- Monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox on a daily basis
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including AP reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Perform other duties as required

Skills & Qualifications:
- At least of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable or similar finance role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes including 3-way invoice matching, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Intermediate proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Desirable Attributes:
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Previous experience using SAP
- Experience in Stock purchase order processing
