To be successful in the role, the ideal candidate should have a great willingness to learn, collaborative, excellent communication skills and ability to deliver tasks within deadlines while managing a large volume of activities. More importantly, as the financial steward of the organisation, the candidate needs to have a sound compliance mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable:
    1. Processing of local supplier invoices.
    2. Processing of foreign supplier stock invoices.
    3. Processing of staff expenses, whether Credit Card or cash reimbursement.
    4. Loading local/foreign currency payments.
    5. Month end supplier reconciliations.
    6. Interact with suppliers both local and foreign.
  • Accounts Receivable:
    1. Processing and reconciling of all daily cash receipts and banking cheques received in the mail.
    2. Credit collection. Ensure all customers are paying within terms and follow up on any late payments early and proactively.
    3. Preparation of month-end statements.
  • Financial Accounting:
    1. Entry of journals
    2. Manage cash flow for the Asia region – including centralization of cash and timely payment to suppliers.
    3. Month end reporting including trial balance reviews and preparing of reporting documents for Asia.
    4. Assisting Tax Agent with the completion of all required tax returns
    5. Maintenance of the asset register including purchases from vendors and stock.
    6. Maintain customer and vendor records.
    7. Assist on any projects based around improving systems in Asia.
    8. Support tenders with bonds/guarantees
    9. Annual Financial Reporting – including Audit & Tax
  • Support the Asia management team with reporting
  • Any other duties as assigned

Experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferably with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Take pride in their work with a high level of accuracy under pressure.
