The Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Engine Shop Manager to join our Turboprops team based at Adelaide Airport to work on our PT6A & TPE331 engines. Your duties will include:
- Responsible for leadership and management of production, maintenance, administration activities under their direct control, to meet agreed financial year targets.
- Contributes to the growth and profitability of TAE by delivering program level short and long-term success consistent with the program business plan and the strategic direction of TAE.
- Support the ongoing maintenance and delivery for the program of any on-boarded or existing program contract, financial, legal and customer relationship needs, with the support of workplace leaders in the program.

- Ensuring operations are conducted in a manner that meets relevant EHS regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Driving compliance to relevant regulatory and legislative requirements associated with the performance of maintenance IAW the TAE Aerospace quality management system.
- Maintaining assigned TAE Aerospace quality management system documents to a contemporary and compliant standard.
- Ensuring all maintenance, supervision and inspection activities are conducted and certified by competent and authorised individuals
- Day-to-day planning, maintaining oversight of workshop records, manuals, logbook management and computer-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
What we are looking for:
- Prior management of a Gas Turbine Engine MRO
- Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience
- Machining and general engineering knowledge an advantage
- Minimum five years in a management/leadership role within a maintenance, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
- Broad knowledge of and experience in management practices involved with heavily regulated working environments/industries.
- Demonstrated financial management experience in a senior role with an engineering, maintenance or manufacturing enterprise.
- Ability to lead, communicate, organise and administer teams of multi-skilled personnel.
- Exceptional organisational, planning and change management skills.
- Broad knowledge of and experience in logistics and material management practices.
