Position: Hairdresser

Location: Calvary Haydon Retirement Community

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional hairdressing services to our residents on-site.
  • Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents during their appointment.
  • Offer a range of services including haircuts, styling, colouring, and basic hair care treatments.
  • Engage with residents to understand their preferences and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon area.

The successful applicant would be engaged approximately once weekly, to be negotiated. They will work as a sub-contractor to the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a hairdresser with expertise in cutting and styling hair.
  • Empathy and patience in working with individuals.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
  • Certification or relevant training in hairdressing.
  • ABN and insurance
