About you

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly skilled Registered Nurses to join Calvary Adelaide Hospital's Neurosurgical team. We work closely with our Medical officers to provide high quality and personalised care for our patients. The successful applicant will aim to support and entrench a culture of clinical excellence and best practice. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate care in a patient-focused environment. Full time and part time, permanent positions available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate/ Timely documentation in all client records.
  • Appropriate communication within the clinical team to ensure care is provided.
  • Complete initial assessments/develop care plans to ensure best outcome for our clients.
  • Monitor and update care plans to ensure appropriate care is provided
  • Deliver education to client and families to enable best possible outcome.
  • Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration, with appropriate escalation

What you bring 

  • Current AHPRA Nursing Registration
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute surgical care/hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a proficient and organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team environment 
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a Mission based organisation
