  • Salary Classification: Radiation Therapist Level 2, Year 1 - 5
  • Remuneration: $40.23 - $55.42 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's 

THE ROLE:

A great opportunity for a Level 2 Radiation Therapist to temporarily join our team at Calvary Mater Newcastle, Department of Radiation Oncology with a 6-month temporary full-time contract, with scope for potential contract extension. The successful applicant will be involved in delivery of patient care and work in a multidisciplinary team environment. 

DUTIES:

  • Simulation, planning and treatment delivery for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Explaining procedures to patients, their family and carers and demonstrating sensitivity to patients’ emotional as well as physical needs
  • Function effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team

ABOUT YOU:

  • Holds the tertiary qualifications, AHPRA registration and EPA licence necessary to practice Radiation Therapy in NSW.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of radiation therapy.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service, patient safety and quality improvement.
