About the role

This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact on the lives of our residents. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care.

Calvary St Joseph’s Retirement Community is home to 135 residents and offers a dementia secure unit, an ethno-specific unit, respite accommodation services and independent living. 

You will bring a caring, positive attitude with a focus on ensuring our Residents are at the centre of all you do!

What you bring 

  • Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support is essential
  • Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain is essential
  • Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
