Staff Health Nurse, St Vincent's & St Lukes Hospital, Launceston

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Calvary Launceston as the Staff Heath Nurse. The Staff Health Nurse role is a permanent, part time 3 shifts per fortnight.

The main responsibilities will be staff health and immunisation, maintaining records and updating the staff health database.

Your main duties will include:

• Staff Health and immunisation.
• Maintaining records and updating the staff health database.
• Assist the ICP Coordinator in meeting best practice standards.
• Pre-employment staff health screening and compliance 

About you

• Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife
• Current Immunization/Vaccination Certificate or working towards
• Working with Vulnerable People Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
• The ability to work autonomously
• Ability to build strong working relationships with nursing teams, medical practitioners and other key stakeholders
• Demonstrates a commitment to best practice
