This office-based position offers opportunities to lead finance transformation projects and process automation initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, the Financial Reporting Lead will oversee the group’s financial reporting, audit, and governance functions. Responsibilities include ensuring statutory compliance, managing audits, intercompany accounting, group consolidations, and financial controls, all while ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to AASB standards and internal control frameworks.
The role will involve taking full ownership of intercompany accounting and eliminations, leading projects to improve intercompany processes, and implementing best practices across the group. A solid understanding of budgeting principles is desirable to maintain an end-to-end view of financial performance and ensure alignment with reporting requirements.
- Lead financial reporting, audit, and governance functions, ensuring compliance with AASB standards.
- Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and group consolidations.
- Drive financial process improvements, automation, and system optimisation.
- CA/CPA qualification with strong technical financial reporting expertise.
- Extensive experience in AASB financial reporting, compliance, and audits.
- Expertise in intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidations.
- Proven leadership in managing and mentoring finance teams to high performance.
- Strong project management skills, driving process improvements and innovation.
