About the role
 

Calvary Central Districts are currently seeking enthusiastic and experience Sterilisation Technicians, for our soon to be expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Sterilisation Technicians to join our team with a focus on development.

The time is now to join our expanding team, with the prospect of opening a brand new hospital coming soon!

Thus we are looking for dynamic, driven Sterilisation Technicians, with a passion to work in CSSD, specialising in - 

  • Orthopaedic, General, Gynae, ENT, Endoscopy, Plastics, Urology and Ophthalmology.
  • Gastroenterology
  • Flexible rostering and request system.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure cleaning, packaging and sterilisation of medical equipment is processed in a timely manner while adhering to all relevant Standards and guidelines
  • Reprocessing of Flexible Scopes
  • Complete documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures and industry standards
  • Monitor compliance and report non-conformance using appropriate methods
  • Participate with daily testing, monitoring and validation requirements 

What you bring

  • Experience working within CSSD
  • Knowledge and understanding of AS 5369. 2023
  • Certificate III or above in Sterilisation Services
  • Drive to learn and expand knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation, demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
