About the role

The People and Culture Partner will play a key role in providing coaching, advice, and partnering services to support managers and employees in operating more effectively to deliver quality healthcare services. A major aspect of the role involves assisting managers in resolving medium to high-risk employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes.

This position will support managers across a broad range of People and Culture matters, from implementing new strategies to operationalising workforce planning and project management. The role will also focus on building and developing the skills of managers and employees within the organisation through the creation and facilitation of educational programs, coaching, and management masterclasses.

 
About you
 
  • Demonstrated HR skills and experience with a sound understanding of a broad range of P&C functions, processes and current P&C trends 
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, project management, workforce development, industrial/employee relations case management, change management.  
  • Proven ability to interpret relevant industrial instruments such as Awards and Enterprise Agreements, including classifications and rates of pay.  
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail  
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional documentation for various audiences, advise and negotiate at high levels and maintain discretion. 
  • Highly-developed relationship management skills, including the ability to interact with, and gain cooperation from, internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
