About the role
Primary responsibility for the planning, coordination/delivery and evaluation of: clinical placements, supervision, support and guidance to allied health professionals and students across CHCB; education programs including mandatory competencies both clinical and E-learning for all staff at CHCB.  This role will also contribute to the delivery of education and training (internal and external stakeholders) and clinical support required by other staffing groups as directed. To work as an active member of the education team to maximise opportunities for allied health staff to participate in high quality inter-professional learning and education
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Working with Allied Health Managers and allied health staff to contribute to processes and systems for ascertaining and monitoring the educational needs of the allied health workforce.
  • To Support and advise on the education of allied health staff in mandatory education requirements
  • To contribute to the aligning of education activities with accreditation standards
  • To provide support for allied health staff who are presenting education within external organisations 
About you:
  • Qualification in Allied Health Discipline
  • Current AHPRA Registration if applicable 
  • Certificate IV TAE40116 or working towards, desirable
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in health care sector
