About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Infection Prevention and Control Manager to spearhead infection prevention initiatives at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital.  Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, this level 3 role is critical in ensuring a safe environment through the development and execution of effective protocols and strategies.
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve infection prevention policies and procedures.
  • Lead staff education and training on infection control standards.
  • Investigate outbreaks and coordinate swift, effective responses to infection risks.

  • Proven expertise in infection prevention and control.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of hospital accreditation and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive improvement.
