Perioperative Services Manager
Calvary Adelaide are seeking to appoint 2 experienced perioperative leaders to the positions of Perioperative Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join our clinical leadership team at Calvary Adelaide Hospital in these newly created positions. The Calvary Adelaide theatre suites are over two floors and these positions will be allocated to either floor based on applicants experience and interest.
Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, these positions will work closely with the clinical and executive teams to drive and deliver service improvements, optimise patient outcomes and foster a culture of supportive teamwork, continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key responsibilities for these roles include:
- Leading and supporting the entire perioperative team, including CSSD and administrative roles
- Ensure safe and efficient scheduling, theatre utilisation and patient flow
- Oversee staffing, rosters and performance across the entire perioperative suite
- Collaborate with executive to achieve and deliver strategic goals
- Lead a culture of compassions and respect, whilst delivering excellent healthcare
The successful applicant will :
- Have demonstrated leadership in the perioperative or acute care setting
- Well developed understanding of clinical risk, accreditation standards and patient safety
- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills
- An ability to support and lead change
- A commitment to delivery of first class healthcare
- A desire to be part of a clinical leadership team that support positive work place culture and respect
- Current AHPRA registration with no conditions
