Patient Service Officer – Data Entry Clerk

About the role

We have an opportunity available for a full time customer focused applicant to join our team in Patient Services as a Data Entry Clerk. The successful candidate will have the ability to work to tight deadlines data entering high volume Patient information into our Patient Management System. The successful candidate will have proven organisational skills, exceptional time management with the ability to prioritise own workload. Data Entry accuracy is a must – if this is you we would love to hear from you.
 
Main Responsibilities
• Accurate and timely data entry of high volume patient data using iPM software
• Uploading of patient information from our eAdmission portal
• Liaising with specialist rooms
• Troubleshoot patient queries

About you
To excel in this role, you must have:
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Exceptional time management
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Previous administrative experience working in a health care setting
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
