About the role
• Patient Care – Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients.
• Clinical Skills – Administer medications, perform procedures, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Communication – Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective care.
• Documentation – Maintain accurate and timely records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Education & Advocacy – Educate patients and families about health, treatment, and prevention, while advocating for patient

Your main duties will include:

• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills

About you:

The Enrolled Nurse will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to provide patient-centred nursing care tailored to individuals requiring rehabilitation. You will support patients’ recovery by monitoring their health status, administering prescribed medications and intravenous fluids, and assisting them in achieving their functional recovery goals.

Your responsibilities include recognising changes in patients’ conditions, communicating effectively within the multidisciplinary team, and advocating for patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process. Critical thinking, accountability, and collaboration are essential to help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
