About the role
 
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning / Laundry Staff to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, with various shifts available. In this important role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents by carrying out cleaning and laundry duties to a high standard. Your work will directly contribute to the health, comfort, and wellbeing of everyone in our aged care community.
 
Your main duties will include:

  • Perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment.

  • Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linen and clothing for residents and the facility.

  • Maintain cleaning and laundry equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns as required.

About you

  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to manage tasks independently and follow schedules.

  • Detail-oriented and thorough, ensuring all cleaning and laundry duties are completed to a high standard.

  • Caring and respectful, with a genuine interest in supporting the comfort and wellbeing of aged care residents.

  • Physically capable, able to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Team player, willing to work collaboratively with other staff and follow workplace procedures and safety guidelines.
