Exciting new roles for CSSD technicians have become available at our Calvary Adelaide site. As a CSSD Technician you will ensure reliably sterilised medical devices are available for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised. In this role, you will require to:
- Practice in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS5369 and other relevant standards
- Participate in personal professional development
- Complete annual requirements of HICMR Education Program
- Complete all annual competencies relevant to area of practice
- Participate effectively in department Quality Management Program
- Effectively manage own time, prioritising tasks as required to meet workload demands
- Effectively and efficiently utilise material resources
What you bring
- Minimum Certificate 3 in sterilisation
- Previous experience in a CSSD is desirable
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a CSSD/Reprocessing Room is desirable
- Effectively manage own time, prioritising tasks as required to meet workload demands
- Practices in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS5369 and other relevant standards
