Registered Nurse - Palliative Care

About you

The Registered Nurse delivers evidence-based care to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds, including individuals, families, and communities. Working collaboratively with patients and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care to achieve positive health outcomes.

The role includes coordinating nursing and healthcare services across a range of care settings, providing leadership, and facilitating referrals and consultation with relevant health professionals, service providers, and community support services.

The Registered Nurse practices both independently and collaboratively, taking responsibility and accountability for their clinical decisions, actions, and the delegation of care to enrolled nurses and healthcare workers, in line with their education, training, and scope of practice.

What you bring 

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
