About the role
Calvary Riverina Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a qualified or training CSSD technician to join the CSSD team. This position is a Monday-Friday role with work across both our Main Theatre and Surgicentre CSSD department. Rotating and flexible roster available on a casual basis.
Your main duties will include:
- Decontamination, Washing, Sterilising and the management of surgical equipment
- Team work and collaboration between the CSSD and Perioperative team
- Adhering to Infection Control and Australian Standards: AS5369
About you
- Cert III in sterilising services or willing to obtain
- Experience in the sterilising services
- Strong team work and communication skills
- Able to demonstrate an understanding for infection control standards.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding for Australian Standards: AS5369
