About the role
 
Calvary has a growing footprint in Victoria with the recent acquisition of Homesglen Private Hospital and existing Kooyong Precinct, 31 Aged Care facilities and Home Care Service. The Regional WHS Manager - Victoria is a full-time management role, supporting a local team of 5 to provide operational WHS & Injury Management services to Victorian services. The role is a hybrid role, based out of the Melbourne CBD Support Office. we are looking for an experienced, dynamic safety leader to drive a positive safety culture and performance. 
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Supporting and collaborating with Service Managers, to drive positive safety performance outcomes
  • Implementing safety programs and initiatives based on incident, injury and audit outcome trends
  • Providing operational SME support to services to manage key WHS risks.
  • Supporting the Injury Management Team and reporting on early intervention program and workers compensation performance.
About you
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Risk, WHS / Injury Management), or demonstrated equivalent significant skills, knowledge and experience
  • Strong knowledge of WHS & IM legislation and related Codes of Practice
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team of WHS &IM professionals to achieve a high performance and positive team culture
  • Experience in driving organisation change programs to achieve strategic objectives
  • Strong influencing skills and experience in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
