About the role
Calvary Central Districts Hospital is seeking a full-time Risk, Safety and Quality Manager to lead and coordinate clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement activities across the hospital. Based in Elizabeth Vale, SA, this role works closely with operational leaders and clinical teams to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
This is a full-time leadership position, typically working business hours with flexibility required to support operational needs.
Your main duties will include:
- Lead quality, risk and patient safety frameworks across the hospital
- Drive accreditation readiness and compliance with NSQHS Standards
- Oversee incident management, investigations and reporting systems
- Implement audits, reviews and continuous improvement activities
- Support clinical governance reporting to executive committees
About you
- A tertiary qualification in a healthcare-related field, along with demonstrated experience in clinical governance roles
- Postgraduate qualification in Quality, Safety or Clinical Governance (desirable)
- Experience in healthcare risk, safety or quality leadership
- Strong knowledge of NSQHS standards and accreditation processes
- Experience leading incident management and improvement systems
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
