This role supports clinical applications across 11 of Calvary's hospitals. As part of the Hospital Systems Team you will be responsible for leading the ongoing development, integration, and support of clinical applications, ensuring these systems are not only reliable and secure but also innovative and adaptive to the evolving needs of staff and patients. This position requires a deep collaboration with healthcare professionals to understand their complex requirements and challenges, thereby enabling sophisticated technology solutions that significantly improve patient care, clinical outcomes, and operational services.
- Ensure continuous operation and reliability of clinical information systems, providing robust support and maintenance to minimise downtime and enhance service providers and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and IT teams to customise and optimise clinical & administrative systems according to specific clinical needs, thereby improving service workflows and care efficiency.
- Uphold strict security standards and ensure compliance with data protection laws to protect sensitive client information, aligning with healthcare regulations and Calvary's commitment to ethical standards.
- Participate in the National ICT on call roster as outlined in the relevant policy
- Provide support for high priority incidents outside of hours through on-call arrangements.
- Extensive experience in managing and support clinical information systems, with demonstrated experience in system configuration, troubleshooting and upgrades specific to healthcare environments.
- Prove leadership and problem-solving skills with a strong record of maintaining system reliability.
- Prove project management experience to enhance systems
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team
