About the role
 

Calvary Health Care is seeking an experienced and motivated part time, permanent Occupational Therapist (0.2 - 0.6 FTE) to join our Allied Health Team in the delivery of expert care at our Lenah Valley Campus. The successful incumbent will be required to manage an acute clinical caseload, covering a range of specialties including: General Medical, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Critical Care. Teamwork, flexibility, innovation and initiative are essential qualities for this role, due to it being primarily autonomous with external support as required from the Occupational Therapy team at the Calvary St John's Rehabilitation campus.

 

Your main duties will include:

  • Team oriented Allied Health interdisciplinary care
  • Comprehensive assessment of patients with a wide variety of conditions
  • Create, monitor and progress individual treatment plans
About you
 
  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, which entitles registration with AHPRA.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the desire to be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering integrated and quality healthcare patient outcomes.
  • Ability to engage and work collaboratively with relevant internal and external agencies.
  • Computer literate, with ability to organise, set priorities and manage time effectively.
