About you

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, & radiology procedures.

Working within a multidisciplinary team, the RN ensures safe, efficient, and evidence-based care across all phases of the patient journey, consistent with Calvary’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and commitment to excellence in private healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical nursing care for patients undergoing procedures such as diagnostic and interventional radiology & vascular procedures, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker/ICD insertion, and other cardiac interventions.
• Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessment, preparation, and patient education
• Perform intra-procedural roles including scrub, tech, and circulating nurse
• Monitor ECG, haemodynamics, and patient condition throughout procedures
• Deliver post-procedure care, including vascular access management, haemostasis, and early detection of complications
• Participate in on-call roster to support emergency cardiac procedures

• AHPRA Registration
• Valid Visa
• Demonstrated recent Cath lab experience 
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
