About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse Level 2 to join Calvary Launceston. This position provides advanced clinical nursing care while supporting the Nurse Unit Manager through clinical leadership, shift coordination, quality improvement activities and staff development.
This is a Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time opportunity working across a 24/7 rotating roster including morning, afternoon, night and weekend shifts.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide advanced patient-centred nursing care and clinical leadership.
- Coordinate shifts and support the Nurse Unit Manager as required.
- Lead quality improvement, education and evidence-based practice initiatives.
About you:
You will bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership and team coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to quality improvement and patient safety.
- Postgraduate qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
