About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced perioperative Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as Registered Nurse – level 2. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and Perioperative Services Manager, you will coordinate the daily operation of the perioperative suite, ensuring safe patient flow, efficient theatre utilisation and outstanding clinical care.
This is a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time opportunity working across a rotating roster, with participation in after-hours coordination as required.
Your main duties will include:
- Coordinate daily theatre operations, staffing and patient flow
- Provide clinical leadership and support to the perioperative tea
- Optimise theatre efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards
About you
You will bring:
- Extensive perioperative nursing experience
- Strong leadership and decision-making skill
- Experience coordinating staff and theatre workflows
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Commitment to quality, safety and patient-centred care
