About the role
Join our Allied Health team in beautiful Launceston, Tasmania, working across Calvary St Luke's and Calvary St Vincent's Hospitals. This opportunity is available on a casual or permanent part-time basis (up to 0.7 FTE) and offers a varied clinical caseload within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
As a Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based assessment and treatment services to acute care patients, working closely with medical, nursing and allied health colleagues to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. The role offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills across a range of inpatient services while contributing to quality improvement and service development initiatives.
Whether you are seeking the flexibility of casual employment or the stability of a permanent part-time position, you'll be supported by an experienced Allied Health team committed to professional growth, collaboration and compassionate care.
Your main duties will include:
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients across acute hospital services.
- Develop, implement and review individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
About you
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience delivering evidence-based physiotherapy care within the inpatient acute care setting.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professional development and quality improvement.
