About the role
Are you a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist seeking an opportunity to work in an established private hospital setting? Calvary North Adelaide Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist to join our team. This role works across the clinical areas of ICU, medical /oncology/haematology, surgical and orthopaedic, providing evidence-based care to patients.
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Delivering comprehensive, physiotherapy assessments and interventions across clinical settings including ICU, surgical , orthopaedic, medical / oncology
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised treatment and care to optimise patient recovery
  • Delivering compassionate and professional care to patients, supporting them through acute medical conditions and providing a high standard of patient centred care.
About you
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a physiotherapist
  • Demonstrated experience working in an acute hospital environment
  • Knowledge and skills in physiotherapy assessment, treatments and rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients, families and health care professionals.
  • Organisational skills to manage a diverse caseload, prioritise tasks and provide care in a fast paced clinical setting
