Unaccredited Registrar -Radiation Oncology - Palliative Care Rotation

Fixed-Term Full-Time

 

  • 2 x Fixed-Term positions (6 months) Full-Time
  • The first six month rotation will commence in February 2027 and the second six-month rotation will commence in August 2027.
  • Salary Classification: Registrar Year 1-4
  • Remuneration: Based on PGY and superannuation + salary packaging options designed to reduce your taxable income!
  • It is anticipated that interviews for this role will be held  on Wednesday 9th September 2026

 

About the role

We are looking to recruit an Unaccredited Registrar to join our Radiation Oncology Team - Palliative Care rotation.  

Your main duties will include:

  • Provide medical support for radiotherapy patients
  • Liaise with treatment and planning areas to ensure appropriate, expeditious inpatient and outpatient booking and treatment
  • Participate in clinical duties as arranged by the Director of Radiation Oncology

 

About you

  • Relevant primary undergraduate degree and current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • At least 2 years postgraduate Australian hospital experience
  • Currently in an Advanced training position in palliative medicine – RACP 
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team
