About the role:
We are seeking a motivated Personal Care Worker to join the team in the City of Hume and the City of Merribek on a Permanent Part Time basis. The candidates need to be committed to delivering high quality care for our aged care clients both in home and in the community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing services in the client’s house such as assistance with showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and assistance with general household tasks.
- Assisting and encouraging independence with clients by taking them out into the community to complete tasks such as shopping or to attend appointments.
- Liaising with the care team regarding any concerns or feedback the client may have with Baptcare’s service to ensure we are meeting the needs of every client.
- Maintaining strict privacy and dignity with all information relating to Client care and promotes same with any other members of the team or contractors on site.
About you:
- Completed Certificate III in aged care or disability support or above.
- Experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with Elderly people is advantageous.
- Current Australian Drivers license and access to a registered and vehicle with insurance.
- Ability to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
