About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team at our residential aged care home in Kerang.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering engaging lifestyle programs that enhance residents’ wellbeing, independence and quality of life. This includes coordinating activities, events and personalised care plans that reflect individual preferences and promote social connection.
This is a casual position.
Key responsibilities
- Cultivate positive, supportive relationships with residents and their families.
- Develop, implement, and assess personalised Lifestyle Care Plans.
- Curate a monthly calendar of activities and special events.
- Foster strong collaborations with Care staff, Volunteers, and the Pastoral Care team to ensure a comprehensive, empathetic, and holistic approach to resident well-being.
About you
- Possess a vibrant and cheerful disposition.
- Hold a Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
- Demonstrate relevant experience in team leadership.
- Exhibit proficient computer literacy, including the ability to create promotional materials like flyers, program calendars, and newsletters.
Compliance / Checks required
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant worker screening/clearance as required
- Proof of working rights in Australia
- Willingness to complete a medical assessment
