We’re currently welcoming new residents at Wyndham Lodge in Werribee and have part-time opportunities available for experienced Personal Care Workers! These are flexible roles spanning morning, afternoon, and night shifts across weekdays and weekends — ideal if you’re looking for variety and the chance to build real connections with the people in your care.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Flexible casual shifts — mornings, afternoons, and nights across weekdays and weekends.
  • Ongoing training and professional development to keep your skills sharp and your career moving.
  • A culture of genuine respect, positive intention, and strong teamwork.
  • Access to confidential counselling and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program.

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands-on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

  • Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan, supporting their goals and daily needs
  • Listen to residents and take the time to understand what matters most to them
  • Accurately record consumer outcomes in Baptistcare systems
  • Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the home
  • Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly and appropriately
  • Attend scheduled training to maintain your skills and compliance

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility
  • Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing
  • Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
  • Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proof of working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
