About the Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the growth and uninterrupted flow of donations made to Savers’ non-profit partners at our Sydney stores. You will lead and drive an instore experience that helps make each Savers store the local donation center of choice. You will also support Sydney stores to promote brand awareness in their community, develop relationships and inspire local organisations to partner with Savers.

 

A typical day might include:

  • Spending time in stores, coaching our team members to wow our donors during their donation experience
  • Networking within the local community to grow our donor base and creating awareness of the donation centres
  • Promoting the work of our charity partners
  • Proudly embracing our purpose to Champion Reuse
  • Sharing the Savers story
  • Supporting our safety culture

 

About You

To ensure you can hit the ground running, you will have a mix of the following:

  • A degree in marketing, sales business or equivalent experience
  • You take ownership of everything you do, with a strong sense of accountability – after all, when it comes to the Sydney donation experience, the buck stops with you!
  • Peripheral vision – you are always on the look out for what’s coming, the expected but also the unexpected. You can respond quickly with a plan and execute.
  • You are passionate about thrift and it is infectious – you are #thiftproud, and want to make secondhand secondnature by Championing Reuse
  • A team player – you love working in a team, and enjoy helping others to meet team goals
