About the role
selectability is currently seeking a program lead to join the team. The program lead plays a pivotal role in facilitating and empowering students as they pursue certifications to enhance their skills and advance their professional growth. This role focuses on guiding recipients through their learning journey, ensuring alignment with training objectives, and fostering a supportive environment for success.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- supervising recipients and the lifestyle support worker mentor during class and learning sessions
- preparing the training and support plan, conducting initial contacts, and assessing suitability for the certificate
- liaising with stakeholders, including recipients, the RTO trainer and assessor
- monitoring students' progress and reporting updates to the program coordinator

About you
To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:
- highly developed person-centred communication skills
- highly developed analytical, problem solving, and numerical skills including the ability to compile, analyse data and prepare reports
- a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
- a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
- a demonstrated ability to show empathy and compassion
- high level organisational, administrative and project management skills
- positive, can-do attitude
Role Requirements
- previous experience in managing programs or courses and workshops, in RTO
- some travel to selectability sites may be required from time to time
- current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
- a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
- a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety & You" completion certificate (or the ability to obtain)
- a current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver licence
- roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
About the offer
The program lead has the opportunity to be a casual or permanent part-time position on a fixed term contract until the end of June 2026 based in Bowen
