This position is an exciting Early Career Teacher opportunity for a new graduate or a teacher in their first 4 years in education.

Good Counsel Primary School has two streams of each year level in the primary years and this opportunity will allow the successful candidate to hone their skills whilst working in a welcoming school community and a supportive team within the Year 5 cohort.

Commencement Date: January 2026
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - Graduate $86,600 to Lead Teacher $147,048 FTE Gross per annum + 12.75% super

About the Role

As a Teacher you will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning
• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a supportive school environment

Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the school Principal or delegate. 

Work Requirements

• Be registered or eligible to be register with Queensland College of Teachers
• Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
