Position of Middle Leadership (Diverse Learning)
This role holds a full-time, permanent Teaching Position


Contract Dates:
 16 January 2027 to 11 January 2030
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent teaching appointment with a three-year fixed-term Middle Leader appointment, which may be renewed following successful review and appraisal.

Hours: As per the Agreement 
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience: 
Graduate $86,600 - Proficient 4 $107,988 FTE Gross per annum, plus Middle Leader Tier 2 allowance $13,026 gross per annum  
OR 
Proficient 5 and above: $137,750 FTE Gross per annum

Good Counsel College is a small, but growing, Catholic co-educational secondary school with a strong sense of community and pride that offers a quality and holistic educational experience for students in Years 7-12. About the Role

The role of the Diverse Learning Leader is to support the mission of the school through leadership of the diverse learning team. This involves the organisation and planning of learning support programs, preparation of PLPs and managing school officer timetables, including the Indigenous Liaison Officer. It also encompasses working collaboratively with classroom teachers and Leaders of Learning to develop strategies for in-class support and modifications as required. This role is pivotal for leadership of enhanced learning programs for students with Diverse Learning Needs.
