Who We Are

At REMONDIS, we’re not just one of the world's largest recycling, service, and water companies—we’re a global, family-owned business turning waste into resources. Operating across four continents with over 40,000 employees, we've proudly driven sustainability and innovation in Australia since 1982.

We see waste not as rubbish, but as potential. If there’s a way to sustainably divert it from landfill, we’ll find it. Join us in a role where you’ll be part of that solution—on the ground, in the field, and making a direct impact.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Waste Coordinator to join our team in a unique hybrid role—50% admin, 50% operational—with a strong focus on client liaison and on-site waste audits. This is a customer-facing role where you'll regularly visit client sites, inspect bins for condition and placement, ensure signage is clear and adequate, and provide feedback and recommendations.

You’ll need to be confident, organised, and great at building relationships. Waste industry experience isn’t essential—but admin, coordination, and customer service experience definitely is.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct regular site visits to client locations (3 active sites, all within 30–60 minutes travel)
  • Perform bin audits, check signage, and assess container condition and positioning
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients—building relationships and identifying service improvements
  • Coordinate and track client requests, issues, and improvements through internal systems
  • Assist with report writing, presentations, and safety documentation
  • Support operational teams with service delivery and ensure compliance with client contracts
  • Liaise closely with the Contracts Manager and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Maintain strong admin discipline—recording data, following up actions, and tracking KPIs

What You’ll Bring

  • Admin or coordination experience (essential)
  • Operational or site-based exposure (highly regarded)
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Confident communicator—both in-person and in writing
  • Able to write clear reports and create professional presentations
  • Safety awareness and a proactive mindset
  • Comfortable with regular travel and field work
  •  Team player attitude with initiative and adaptability
  •  Full driver’s licence (vehicle provided)

Why Join REMONDIS?

  • Be part of a global leader making a real environmental impact
  • Work alongside passionate, driven people who care about the future
  • Gain hands-on experience in projects that shape sustainable operations
  • Enjoy a strong team culture that values growth, inclusion, and innovation
