A great opportunity has become available at our ETS (Environmental Treatment Solutions) Head Office facility in Minto. As the Logistics Manager, you'll lead a team of Drivers and Warehouse Staff to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality waste collection and warehousing services. You'll play a key role in planning daily operations, optimising service volumes, and ensuring full compliance with EPA NSW regulations, National Heavy Vehicle Standards, Chain of Responsibility requirements, and REMONDIS Australia's safety and operational systems.

Beyond daily logistics, you’ll take ownership of fleet management across its entire lifecycle—from cost-effective maintenance to strategic planning and capacity development. How you will make an impact

  • Manage employees within the operations team, (Drivers and Warehouse Staff), to ensure allocation and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Ensure behaviours are consistent with the REMONDIS Code of Conduct and enhance the team environment.
  • Create a result orientated team environment, focused on safely and efficiently delivering service to customers to grow the business.
  • Manage Toolbox Talks and other internal communications processes across the logistics operations.
  • Manage training and induction requirements across the logistics operations. 
  • Lead the Logistics team to ensure all relevant services are completed in line with EPA New South Wales requirements and that all regulatory reporting requirements are fulfilled.
  • Maintain induction, training, and licensing systems to ensure Drivers are appropriately qualified for the services to be delivered.
  • Implement and maintain REMONDIS Australia processes and systems to maintain full compliance with all relevant EPA New South Wales, SafeWork NSW, Chain of Responsibility. Dangerous Goods and National Heavy Vehicle requirements.
  • Lead the team of Operations Coordinators to plan and schedule services to deliver regular customer and ad hoc service requirements.
  • Maintain customer records within Wastedge to ensure customer requirements are understood and are completed as required.
  • Secure new business by professionally managing incoming customer inquiries and proactively pursuing opportunities.

Who you are:

  • Logistics / management qualification (Desirable) 
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Team leadership/management of drivers
  • Fleet management
  • Waste industry experience
