Project Coordinator – 12-Month Maternity Leave Contract
Full Time – Fixed Term (12 months)

Who We Are

At REMONDIS, we’re not just one of the world's largest recycling, service, and water companies—we’re a global, family-owned business turning waste into resources. Operating across four continents with over 40,000 employees, we've proudly driven sustainability and innovation in Australia since 1982.

We see waste not as rubbish, but as potential. If there’s a way to sustainably divert it from landfill, we’ll find it. Join us in a role where you can make a real impact—keeping our customers engaged and helping drive our commitment to a cleaner, greener future.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and organized Project Coordinator to join our WA team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. In this dynamic role, you’ll support the delivery of approved projects from concept to completion—on time and within budget. Your coordination will be essential to driving operational improvements and ensuring smooth execution across the board.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate and deliver approved projects within timeline and budget parameters
  • Support Operations with the implementation of Business Improvement Plans
  • Develop and manage relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and contractors
  • Draft and manage Scopes of Work (SoWs) and Requests for Pricing (RFPs)
  • Act as the central point of contact for all stakeholders.

Who You Are:

You’re a confident communicator, a natural organizer, and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A couple of years of experience or qualifications in project management will be needed.

What You Bring:

  • Project coordination or project management experience/qualifications
  • Exceptional communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Confident managing commercial aspects and budgets
  • A continuous improvement mindset and “can-do” attitude
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems
  • A collaborative and inquisitive nature, always ready to take initiative
  • Waste Industry experience is a plus—but not essential. If you’re passionate about sustainability, innovation, and being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team, we want to hear from you.

Why Join REMONDIS?

  • Be part of a global leader making a real environmental impact
  • Work alongside passionate, driven people who care about the future
  • Gain hands-on experience in projects that shape sustainable operations
  • Enjoy a strong team culture that values growth, inclusion, and innovation
