The Role:
We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Full-Time Cafe Assistant Store Manager to join our food & beverage team at Cairns Airport. If you love being hands-on, thrive in a busy café environment, and want to lead a great team – this is the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Be a go-to leader – support your team to deliver excellent service
✅ Bring energy to every shift and create a great team vibe
✅ Ensure food & beverage standards are on point – quality, speed, and presentation
✅ Support stock management, hygiene, and compliance processes
✅ Train, coach, and motivate team members
✅ Maintain a positive, people-first culture
What We’re Looking For:
☕ Previous experience in hospitality, food retail, or cafes
🍽️ Understanding of food safety, hygiene and compliance practices - Current RSA, RMLV, and food safety certificate
💬 Strong communication and people skills
⏰ Early riser or night owl – availability to work a mixture of shifts from 5:00am–9:00pm including weekends & holidays
🪪 Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
