The Role:
We’re searching for a proactive, people-first Operations Manager to join our leadership team overseeing our Cairns & Darwin Airport operationsin a Full-Time capacity. This is your chance to be at the centre of it all — managing day-to-day operations across multiple retail concepts and working closely with senior leadership to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and with excellence.
What You’ll Do:
✅ Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple airport retail stores
✅ Lead and support store teams to deliver outstanding customer service
✅ Ensure compliance with airport regulations, health & safety, and company policies
✅ Collaborate with internal teams and airport stakeholders for smooth operations
✅ Track and report on operational costs, budgets, and forecasts
What We’re Looking For:
💼 Proven experience in a multi-site or high-volume operations management role
👥 Strong people leadership skills — able to coach, guide, and motivate diverse teams
🧠 A solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and organisational skills
🗣️ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
⏰ Flexibility in regards to hours is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our business and to meet the needs of our stakeholders
🪪 Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
