Our Aelia Duty Free store provides our customers with a range of Duty-Free products and we are looking for people that have a genuine interest in helping customers shop for all their travel needs!

The role:

Seeking a Full Time Retail Assistant at Queenstown Airport. 

As a Retail Assistant you will deliver an outstanding customer service experience through your product knowledge and ability to provide recommendations and services to our customers. To execute your goals, you will receive regular, professional training so you will always be up to date on the latest products and trends! You will also:

  • Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner
  • Ensure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand requirements
  • Maintain stock and merchandise presentation consistently and in accordance with Company standards

We are looking for someone that can work Thursday - Monday OR Friday to Tuesday from the hours of 4:45am - 1:15pm (40 hours per week)

To be successful, you will need:

  • Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering a great customer experience to achieve sales targets.
  • Clear and confident communication skills and an ability to think on your feet and promote your brand.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
  • MUST have own transport (as no public transport at that time of the morning unfortunately).
  • Previous experience working in the retail industry is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • To be flexible to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday which may include early morning, late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Valid working rights as well as the ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card
